It's been so long since this blog is updated, how're you people? Are we having our annual class gathering (sometime soon)? =P

hello.

in view of kat's latest entry about ugly fotos (which i still think looks ok) and her desperate plea to know about ppl's life, i've decided to keep u guys updated about mine lousy and meaningless one.

As many didn't know, i've deleted my blog. Soon after i deleted it, some SOB who either had the same idea as me or had serious spelling issues (maybe he meant laxatives i dunno), re-upped the site and turned it into a porn site. That site has nothing to do with me. It has since been taken down and is under review from blogger.

In case many are still in the dark, i'm currently slaving my time working in the gahmen sector as a relief temp, covering a HR portfolio. For all those who is majoring in HR (this means u jacq), best of luck. you'll need it.

it is also at this place where i met past teachers like mr peh (yes, the one who demands you to raise ur hands perpendicular to the floor) and our favorite alexis tan (by this time if u still dunno where i'm workin at you can go and die alr). As a matter of fact, i'm having lunch wit her next week. she is pregnant and will be giving birth next month liao. so tell me of u wanna leave her any message.

i heard from mr peh tat our mother praeman have since resigned as a teacher to become a full time housewife.

i guess tat's all i hav. ciao.

ETA: Paiseh, still haven't figure out how to spell check over at Blogger.

Am having mid term break now, so technically it's a week off school. However, had already sacrifice 3 days to do projects, which is not a lot considering that out of the 6 modules I'm taking, 5 have projects. And Stats itself has 3 projects! Of cos', some projects can be completed in one day whereas some stretch over weeks.

Uni is one stressful business. Do you recall those times where we were in JC and the teachers were saying JC is the worse part of your academic life and uni will be much better? Personally, I don't agree. Sorry guys, don't mean to scare you all but perhaps you'll find studying better than trekking in some jungles.

Anyway, it's like all the points count. Even 1 bl**dy mark in your class participation point cos it'll make or break whether you're in the B+ range (for a useful 2nd upper class honours) or B (2nd lower class). Of cos', I'm not saying that everyone should be so stressed over the points cos' after all, uni is the last final chance to slack. Unless you become tai tai or (what's the male equivelent of tai tai?).. Else you'll be most likely working bah.

Yep, so whatever it is, just enjoy life now, whether it's the short one week break, studying or serving/slaving in army =P Take care folks!

OK, i'm doing this post for the following reasons:
1)I cannot take it when people only post entries that acknowledges a certain event. The past few posts have been happy v day, happy CNY, happy x'mas.

2)Being out of contact for so long, i hope to know how are you guys getting on, starting with me.

3)I need to post something here, seeing the fact that i seldom post stuff here.

Ok, so to begin with, u guys already know that i'm stuck in national slavery. The injury that i had on me now is endless. I am currently waiting a specialist appointment in april for my back. It is either a soft tissue tear or worse, a slipped disc.

I have a place in NUS Architecture, finally achieving a dream of mine.

I am now currently located in pasir laba camp, the one next to NTU. I deal with reservists people, but i am going over to finance sector. Sooner or later u may see me driving a Mazda RX-8 to school, after all the money that i've embezzled.

Seeing that this blog has been stagnant for a couple of months, and I'm slacking away my time here now (got a 6 hours break before my lecture, sigh), I shld do another update, haha.

Our class recently got a Yahoo! group, courtesy of Kathy, if you people somehow deleted the invites (which is wahat I did in the 1st round cos' it ended up in my Junk mail, haha), leave a note here and I'll send an invite to ya =P

So life at Pulau NTU has not been that interesting. Was pia-ing my Biz Law assignment during the one week break and don't feel rested at all for a long time time. Can't wait for the end of term hols to begin (starting from 16 Nov!).

It's been a long time since I've seen most of you all.. Any class outings in December? You all can come to Kathy and my alumni band concert on Fri, 30 Dec, to celebrate New Year's eve's eve, haha. Shun4 Bian4 promote our concert =D

5 weeks into uni

Hi ppl! How's life been getting on? Whether it's uni, working, serving the country etc, hope it has gone smmothly for ya =)

I have already spent 5 weeks in Yunnan Garden (can you believe some profs actually refer NTU to this name?), and time is just like flying past.

Uni life is busy even though we don't seem to attend lessons as much as JC. Everything is rush, rush and more rush, projects, lectures, tutorials and even rushing for bus, haha.

Hmm, I'm still CCA-less and am too lazy to find one, haha. Any recommendations?

Oh, I realised that if uni ask you to submit those passport size photo, do submit one that you look pretty good in it. Cos, especially in the case of NTU, everyone taking the same lecture as you (and that's like hundreds of people) can get to see your photo. Pretty creepy right? And I look so childish in mine, sigh, still got people ask me whether I took it in sec sch, hmpf.

Taking heed of Jacq's idea and put up my timetable. I've no idea how to but I'll try though.

The whole 3 weeks were so overwhelming. I could not make head or tail what have happened, what the hell they're going through and for the 1st time in so many years I rely a lot of my textbooks. *Faints* Oh I didn't mention the projects as well. It's like every other week I have a project due. How exciting can my life be. I was actually deciding to participate actively in my ECA but judging the way things go, I don't think I'll be able to. I really want to take a break from studies and really just chill. But bearing in mind the consequences, I've no courage to just relax. Much as I want to go town and eat walk talk and shop. Geez I hope I'll be able to meet up with you all soon. Like get out of Jurong. Argh..

i am also doing psychology(Pray i pass this. must take this as major!!! i want!!!), south asian studies, Singapore society, Geisha,samurais and yakuzas... steady right!!!
next term i wanna take pharmacy too!! haha. arts is kind of fun so long as you are willing to open yourself up to it. i guess everything is like that. what's important to make you happy is to find different perspectives! yae.

Hello people! It's been a loooonnnnng time since I leave a tiny weeny trail here. I suppose most of us are starting school soon (with the obvious exception of the guys) and god knows how and when we will meet again. You know those Hong Kong dramas and American shows where they have those high school gatherings and at there everyone seems to be a different person. Imagine that! Maybe then if we happen to have Mrs Praeman at our gathering, she probably not wearing her maternity-looking dress but those working suits. Ok that's not explosive enough. Maybe Ms Jillian Lee will not be sporting a short crop but long silky hair. Haha. Anyway just some random (and funny) thoughts above. No matter your choices or what paths you may take, just want to wish all the best to you. We are not going to be judged only by a piece of paper. First thing first, I'm unemployed! Haha, yep, finally got the axe after working for 3 months so I've got lottsa free time now. Was surfing other class blogs just now and realise that our this blog is lacking a little something: class photo! Yep, and since I pretty much sux at blogspot html, I just did a graphic to replace the water lily.. Er, hope you guys like it =) It's the only full class photo other than the official one. Oh, my monitor resolution is 1024x768, so I'm not really sure how the new picture will affect other resolutions.. If it's causing you problems, let me know and I'll take it down. Working had been kinda nice this 2 weeks, heh, you didn't read wrongly. I actually get to slack after say 3pm and it's not that hectic anymore. But heard the second batch of ERS forms is coming so I better slack as much as I can now as I still haven't found permanent helpers to assist me in the coming busy season, bleah.

Anyway, I missed wearing sch uni. Keep repeating my clothes until I super sianz already, then those opened shoes' bad for sole man, my feet's skin peeling off liao..

Can't wait for CNY and SA carnival to come.. We go together kk?

anw.. realise my job pays really low.. considering the work i'm undertaking.. emailing, helpdesk, doing trial reports, replying emails, registering, keying excel sheets, calling out to employers, calling problem forms.. wad the hell (hey i'm cursing).. and still have to be oh-so-nice to employers when it's their fault for delaying payment and registration.. and i'm not the cpf board!! wad's e point of venting your anger on me when it' s not up to me to waive off all those processing fees and late payment charges.. "great".. next week shall b worst.. when is going to be nearing the 14th of the mth and there's so many PH (ie cny) b4 14.. the whole of singapore's employers shall call in n complain: "your hotline very hard to get through leh!! #$%^& open more lines la!!" the thing is: u've got thru n u're holding up the line.
heh.. paiseh need to de-stress.. cos have made quite a lot of mistakes.. esp ytdy while multi-tasking.. going emails and trial reports.. emailed the wrong format email to 2 employers.. BIG SERIOUS MISTAKE.. ain't suppose to send confirmation to proceed submission when their GIRO's not approved but i did send.. in the end have to call them and in the most professional manner you can ignore the email and apologise for tt (btw the email add i use to send out has a signature: THIS IS A COMPUTED GENERATED EMAIL blah blah.. so i've become a computer -.-''') n i have to follow up the cases to ease my guilt.. hope there ain't any repercussions.. then the registration mistake.. troublesome too but rectified.. think was in a bad mood ytdy.. wonder my colleagues realise tt cos i always this stern-looking person there.. strange i refer them as colleagues not frens.. not tt the relationship wid them is like those of aquaintance.. but better than i just start out..

i just got quite a cut on my elbow 'cos i accidentally scratch it against the metal thing that was supposed to hold the keyboard tray but the keyboard tray fell out. but i didn't curse at all this time...i was like ouch...rather pain...not a very deep cut though..but quite long...bah.

the people at my workplace only curse by saying stupid XXX, smelly XXX...in chi of 'cos. yah.

as a student, i have no comments about a five day week. but as an employee...i support a five day week totally! i don't mind working slightly half an hour later on weekdays and having lunch hours cut short...i just don't want to work on sat. so sian.

yup karen, i cant choose OT too. and inez, i cant believe you actually wants to do OT. for me, when there's OT, it usually means that we cant close the shop in time. and at 11pm at night, all you want to do is to get home and not continue mopping and cleaning stuff.

you all office people, be thankful that you can curse (aloud or otherwise). all my cursings have to be replaced by smiles cos the customers are always right (yadda yadda). spent thirfts sia!! when you work weird hours like me, there's not much time to go out much less spend. hahaz... and the perk of working in F and B esp when you are new is that you can try stuff on the pretext of wanting to know how they taste like. plus i get two drinks (though limited in scope) per day. so next time if you all visit during non busy hours, i will try to smuggle for you kay? ;p

Working life is busy, sigh. Can't really believe that I didn't come online during my work week, haha. And I'm spending money faster than I'm earning them, especially on transport fees, I wanna be a child (in the govt's eyes) again, haha.

Hm...inez...you can actually choose to do OT. I can't. I can't decide whether i can do OT. If not, I'll do a lot. My boss won't let people OT for nothing. Only when they're like really close to the deadline yet still have a lot to do...then he asks them to do OT. Bah. But I will have a lot of OT-ing in mar/apr. Bleah...

The people around me don't utter any curse word. Not even in Chinese. But why do i keep cursing silently when i knock into things? It's not even mild words like s**t. Bah. I should either stop cursing or stop bumping into the edges of office tables or whatsoever.

Regarding to Jacq's last post, I'm still nuts on those Blogger stuff, think Blogspot really outdone themselves in the short one year which I've stop using it (though I much much much prefer LiveJournal, haha, advertising here). I don't even know about the workings of template anymore, haha. Maybe I'll poke around when I'm free.. But then again there's always experts around here (look meaningfully at those using Blogger for blogging) to do the technical stuff, hehe. Besides, lotus is kinda nice, reminds me of my organiser, if you people still remember how it looks like =)

Okie okie. Guess I can join in dominating this blog for a while. Finding a job is hard...not that I never thought so before. Especially those types that don't really welcome students on vacation. Whatever. Signed up with this agency and hope they help me though. Heard from friends' friends or whatever that most office jobs thath they have, they got through agency. So...whatever, even though the pay is going to be quite low. Agree with Jacq that this hols is different. Been thinking about my future and stuff. Personally, do not wish to get stuck in this kind of hard-to-find-job period again. And I figured there are only two ways out or perhaps three. 1)Do extremely well in uni. Heard if you get like graded A, companies will look for you. 2)Get a scholarship with a bond. 3)Take over your parents' business if any. None is an easy method perhaps except for point three which is not applicable to me. Bleah...life is tough.

hahaz... am kinda/a bit bored. (ok... understatement) sh, have this feeling that we'll dominate the blog. considering that most of them have jobs and the two of us are still buming around. anw, it's strange that the more you sleep, the more tired you feel.

before i slept last night, happen to be staring at my calander. and i realised how uncertain the future seems. remember when we used to belong to some institutions like pri sch, sec sch and jc? and at this period of time during the hols, we'll be trying to:
(a). squeeze in time to catch up with as many people as possible
(b). postponing doing holiday homework for like the 10th day and coming up a list of people to copy from when sch reopens
(c). counting down to the day that sch reopens and hope that day never comes
(d). CCA CCA and more CCA
(e). slack!! (if we can still find the time to)

while we still do most of the things and i totally enjoy this period of freedom, it's just different.
